The group congregated around a strange social event radiates a subversive threat emanating from an apparently metaphysical phenomenon which invades reality. His painting reflects the paranoiac condition of the world and, despite the use of bright and lively colours, conveys a sense of threat and creates a dynamism of its own from which onlookers are unable to escape.
