Menchen studied Fine Arts in Madrid and continued training in Vienna at the Akademia der Bildenden Künste in Vienna and at Goldsmiths College in London.
He creates his works through sculpture and cinematography, where cinematography occupies an important place. His works are mainly based on the use of the moving image using collage, montage and editing.
He has exhibited his works among others at: The Showroom or MUMOK in London and Vienna; Food 30 in Madrid; the Young Art Room of the Community of Madrid. He has also published texts in different media: Concreta, Efímera and L'Officiel magazines and has given talks at the Ordinary Sociology meeting in Madrid and at Goldsmiths College in London.
