United Kingdom, 1976.
She studied fine arts at the University of Reading in the UK from 1995 to 1999. From 2000 to 2001 she furthered her art studies at Chelsea College in London.
She used simple materials to create magical scenography that exceeds the spectator’s imagination. They are small format drawings, some imperceptible, seductive in their narrative intensity. The characters, some melancholic, others disengaged in deep thought, solitary, mingle with others who, amazed by their own size, plunge into the unknown, fly, paint and pick something up off the ground.
Harvey works with perishable media such as post-its, cellophane or small pieces of paper. Her compositions are guessed, sensed in a unique and intangible universe. She combines them with projected images in homage to the cinema which plays such an important part of her life.
