Lives and works in the north of France.
Science, poetry, knowledge and intuition come together in Berrada's works. He uses emerging forms from scientific experimental methods. In his own words “I try to control the phenomena that I mobilize as a painter controls his pigments and brushes. My brushes and pigments would be parameters such as temperature, magnetism or light”.
He has participated in the biennials of: Yinchuan Biennial (China); Riga Biennale, Lyon Biennale; The BIM-Biennale of Moving Image, Geneva among others.
His work has been shown in both individual and collective exhibitions, highlighting those of the ICAS-Institute of Contemporary Art, Singapore; The Moderna Museet, Stockholm; the Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art, Kenesaw, USA; the Martin-Gropious-Bau, Berlin; the Center Pompidou, Paris; the ZK; Karlsruhe, Germany among others. Also known are his performances in the slaughterhouses, Toulouse; the MacVal; the Nuits Blanches in Paris, Brussels and Melbourne.
