For Saya, 2011

Author: Hiraki Sawa

Two-channel video and two LCD monitors in wooden box.

Two projections of the same image with a slight timing difference. On the screen to the left we see a woman jumping in circles and on the screen to the right we see the same image, but the action is delayed by a few seconds. In this work, Sawa is simultaneously representing the same event at two different times: the present and the past, the latter of which is apparently a memory.
