She studied Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country. She has been an associate professor of Fine Arts in Leioa and has also been a member of the faculty of guest professors at the Institute of Artistic Practices and has been an artist in residence at De Ateliers in Amsterdam.

Crespo works primarily with sculpture. He uses a variety of materials, objects from industrial production, or organic and vegetal motifs. His works combine the ephemeral and the perishable, manual and mechanized mechanisms. Sometimes he uses textile elements to cover his pieces, making his sculptures appear as an event.
