In this case, the title comes from another film from 1963, directed by Joseph Strick, based on a theatre piece by Jean Genet and starring Shelley Winters and Peter Falk.
These two pieces are excellent examples of Ruyter's continued interest in reproducing social scenes and events, such as a press conference in Room for One More or a concert in The Balcony.
