In this work, Dean explores laboratory tests based on laser, nano-nuclear equivalent explosions and the possibility of filming them. The tests happen in a fragment of time, in femtoseconds (a millionth of a billionth of a second). Capturing these micro-events is a task that far surpasses the natural capacities of cinema, which is paradoxically the only means capable of recording them.
