Colección Inelcom Arte Contemporáneo pays tribute to Xisco Mensua at ARCO

The Colección Inelcom Arte Contemporáneo pays tribute this year during the celebration of ARCO to the Catalan-Valencian artist Xisco Mensua, who passed away in 2025, and also presents 11 new works, consolidating itself as a long-term project that shows how and what challenges the technology company Inelcom faces.

Currently the collection consists of 507 works and this year there are 323 works by 99 artists on display. 60 percent correspond to male artists and 40 percent to women. In addition, in this edition, a unique space has been allocated to the works that the Collection possesses by Xisco, being one of the private collections that has the most pieces by the artist.

The last creation he worked on and which remained unfinished, "Políptico Montsant", has also been exhibited, a series of 25 drawings that narrate the history of the Hotel Montsant in Xàtiva, of which Xisco was able to complete 22.

For the CEO of Inelcom, Javier Quilis, "the combined vision of business, humanity and sensitivity towards contemporary art is an essential quality in Inelcom's history. It is what makes us a special and unique company, insistent that this conjunction of the business and cultural world is a way of being and being in society".

This year "we wanted to prepare a special mention for Xisco, an artist with whom we always maintained a very special relationship and whose work has inspired us and represents us. His last work was a commission we gave him to highlight the historical heritage of Xàtiva".

"In Inelcom we have the firm conviction that our history and our culture are essential elements to grow and advance in society. Knowing our past, looking towards the future, encourages us to improve day by day, to face and overcome our personal and collective challenges," concludes Quilis.
