Set of works dating from 1997 onward. Some of the paintings were given to him by friends, some were discarded by students, others were found at street markets or acquired cheap at auction. The paintings undergo a transformation process where the artist cleans the paintings and covers them with a coat of acrylic primer. The paint is peeled off the canvas, which is then washed in a washing machine. The assembled painting, with the appearance of cobblestone paving, is placed back onto the canvas upside down.
