Pigment print on Baryta Prestige.
This work stems from Sophie's obsession with the sinkholes that have ravaged the dry shoreline of the Dead Sea over the years. In 2017, she flew over this sea to photograph its craters, the result of environmental problems and political conflicts that cause the overexploitation of the Jordan. On the other hand, we find the Parisian asphalt. Sophie focuses and investigates the effects that thermal contractions produce in the asphalt or the deformation of it by the roots.
